I thought this was too hilarious not to post. It's an etsy shop that sells 'Rear Gear' for dogs. The shop is called No More Mr. Brown Eye. Check it out here. Gizmo could totally use one of these!

Jarod and I took Gizmo to the breeders house today for him to see his family and for us to see our one week old puppy!
I think the first one is Gizmo's mom. They have eight Boston's, not including the four new puppies, so it's hard to keep track of them all!
Gizmo was having so much fun - but he was kind of scared and kept hiding near us.
We were so excited to see Gidget (I'm pretty sure that's the name we're going with). We will get to take her home nine weeks from today. She was born last Sunday, October 11.
PS: I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to the Dead Man's Bones concert next Saturday at the Venue in Vancouver, but they are sold out : ( If you have two tickets that are up for grabs please let me know!
When Jarod and I got our Boston Terrier, Gizmo, we had planned on getting a female, but the litter only had two boys. We decided to go ahead and get him, but we agreed that we would get a female in the future.
Three years have passed now so I recently mentioned to Jarod our little agreement. He's not one to back out on promises, so we contacted the breeder to arrange a visit for Gizmo to meet his family and discuss getting a puppy in the future.
It turns out that they just had a new litter last weekend with three girls, and one of them has half a white face. They are pretty sure that when she opens her eyes she will have a blue eye, just like Gizmo! They haven't had any dogs with blue eyes since Gizzy so it's a funny time for us to contact them.
If we want her we can have her! We're going to visit the breeder this Sunday and meet her, I am SO excited. We're planning on naming her Gidget :)
I will for sure bring my camera, so get ready for puppy pictures!
I'm inspired. I LOVE being inspired.
I discovered this fab project by Monsieur Cabinet (aka Dave) and am inspired to do my own version of it. So... I will be doing a daily mostly daily illustration doodle of something awesome. Or something I love. Or something that just makes me want to capture it on paper because it makes me feel good.
Will I try and do one doodle every day? Yes.
Will I upload one every day? Definitely not. I hate scanning things. But I will eventually scan them all, I'll just do it in groups.
Do I want you to play along with me? Of course! Add a link in the comments to your blog, Flickr, whatever! Take your own spin on the project... write a poem a day, take a photo a day... do as you please!
Here are some of Dave's drawings that inspired me!
PS... He's still staring at me.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and today... five days of being sick. Yuck. I am starting to feel a bit better in the chest, but it has now gone north and my nose has started running and I keep sneezing. At least my voice sounds better... it was pretty laugh worthy the past few days. I'm pretty sure it is the H1N1 virus.
I was feeling better today so after a long nap I decided to leave the house for the first time since Sunday and walk to the new drug store at the end of my street. Once I got there I started feeling really dizzy and was a bit worried I would faint and crack my head on the floor and end up missing even more school. I also had a very large raccoon cross a few feet in front of me on my way there and I started thinking about how they are supposed to be quite vicious and what I would do if it attacked me.
I did however make it there in one piece. One of my favourite things to do when I'm in ill health is to browse drug/grocery stores. I like to go up and down every aisle and look at all the different things for sale. Jarod is not such a fan of this past-time so I can only really do it when I'm alone.
I made it home safely along with a new hairbrush, some new Ceres iced tea, a Snapple iced tea, tissue, a green toothbrush for Jarod, a pink toothbrush for me, popcorn, Rockhoppers cough drops, and some sleepytime extra tea(chamomile mint flavour).
I sent an e-mail to my instructors this morning and have so far had some very nice responses telling me not to worry, to get better, and that I can have extensions on my projects if I need. I'm hoping to work my tush off this weekend and hand in all my projects on time just to show them what a rockstar I am.
Gizmo had been pretty adorable throughout Jarod's and my sicknesses. When Jarod first got sick Gizmo would go and snuggle up with him (which he doesn't often do), and now that I'm sick he's being super sweet and cuddly. Currently he is sitting beside the monitor staring at me. Gizmo likes to sit and watch you. It's kind of creepy yet cute.
I finally got around to charging my camera yesterday so I could get the pictures off of it that I took of my nook and my home. Enjoy!
My nook:
And the rest of our home:
Jarod is really, really sick (flu) and Gizmo is trying to make him feel better by snuggling up with him, which he doesn't often do. It's so cute.
Gizmo and I are snuggled up on the sofa listening to jazz on the radio while I update my datebook. I think I'm turning in to my father who would listen to the radio (CBC) every night at his desk for hours and hours.
I just finished the dishes and now I'm thinking about making banana bread. I had today off because my teacher is in Germany, but I'm back to class tomorrow. Excited to find out about new projects and such!
One of the cutest shops online is All-Mighty, who just like me have a love for Boston Terriers. Here are some of their goodies!
