Jarod and I officially moved in to our new home yesterday and it already feels more comfortable than the last place ever did. Jarod's parents helped us move (again!) and we couldn't have done it without their help. We managed to move the entire place and set up most of our new home, except for some boxes labeled "random/misc." and my boxes and boxes of art/craft supplies. We also still need to hang all of our pictures. The bedroom is mostly unpacked, the bathroom is done, and the kitchen is looking beautiful! Jarod had two friends join us for dinner this evening and we were actually able to sit at our kitchen table for dinner! We just didn't have any room in our old kitchen for that so we always (gasp!) ate on the sofa. I even washed all of the dishes immediately after dinner- and didn't even mind!

but i can't right now because it's past midnight and i should be in bed. Maybe I'll find some time tomorrow after school (HA!). Yesterday Jarod's parents came over to our new place and helped us paint. We'll be moving in next weekend- which I am thrilled for. We've already moved our coffee table and kitchen table, and we have stuff everywhere ready to be packed, so our place is looking miserable. Today Jarod and I went to the new place and touched up some trim and unpacked some books, etc. Here are some pics of the new place!

This tea party candelabra from Anthropologie is spectacular! Unfortunately, its $514.07 CND price tag is not so hot. It is hand made in South Africa though, which makes the price a tiny bit less ridiculous since it's not a mass produced 'made in china' product. In my dream home, this would be in the middle of my kitchen table.

And I was browsing her portfolio I came across the above image, which has a Boston Terrier in it! Too cute!

I just love this site where people post encouraging phrases. These are some that made me think of Jarod.

In our new home we wont have the space for both our sofa and love seat, so we will have to put the love seat in storage and buy a nice chair. Of course, we don't have the funds right now for anything semi-pricey so I know we wont be able to buy any of these beauties, but I can dream :)
